While Veggie Mix was created for growing vegetables in-ground and in raised beds, it's a versatile blend that can also be used for seeding starting and as a container potting soil. We add 25% bark to our compost base, turning Veggie Mix into a multi-purpose potting mix.
Container gardening is fun because it allows you to garden on decks, patios, balconies, extra driveway or walkway space, and everywhere that in-ground space is limited. Creative plant combinations in decorative pots become works of art in their own right.
Veggie Mix is a rich container potting soil that you can plant in without additional mixing. There's no need to add fillers or get a separate potting mix that contains peat, perlite, other fillers, or even fertilizer.
You can grow veggies, herbs, all sorts of flowers, and even shrubs and trees in containers using Veggie Mix as your potting medium. Veggie Mix grows healthy plants in any container type or size. Recommended for outdoor use only.
